This high-level Policy Dialogue organised by the EPC and the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies (European University Institute), took stock of the Brexit process, following the massive parliamentary defeat in January 2019 for the UK government’s Brexit proposal. A number of scenarios were explored, including whether or not Prime Minister Theresa May’s Brexit deal could be rescued, the likelihood of a no deal or an extension to the 31 March Brexit deadline.
