Health in all policies: Moving from media headlines to policy actions

The CHES Conference ‘Health in all policies: Moving from media headlines to policy actions’ looked at some of the main health-related issues that have hit the headlines in the European media in 2017 and the causes behind them. It explored the major challenges in the healthcare arena, how the EU institutions have been addressing them and the extent to which health considerations are adequately integrated across different policies. The conference involved a panel discussion followed by parallel expert workshops and concluded with a plenary, during which experts shared workshop findings and drew conclusions in the form of recommendations for policymakers.
