At a time of deindustrialisation, high unemployment and decreasing competitiveness in a large number of sectors in Europe, innovation is an area where urgent action is needed. Howerver, significant barriers are preventing the EU and its Member States from exploiting the potential Europe has at its disposal. In this context, this Task Force meeting identified solutions to overcome these barriers through dialogue.
