Nord Stream 2, a new planned pipeline connecting Russia and Germany via the Baltic, has led to a lot of discussion in Europe. Not everyone agrees on the consequences of the project, while others questions the economic and/or political motives behind it, and whether if it is even compatible with EU law. At this Policy Dialogue, a panel of experts debated the likely economic and energy security impact on Central and Eastern Europe, the different possible energy market scenarios, and the main EU initiatives regarding Nord Stream 2.
