This Roundtable meeting provided the inside track on the EU's objectives and expectations for the United Nations Climate Change Conference, to be held in Warsaw from 11 to 22 November. In particular, participants discussed the EU's engagement with other parties in order to achieve a global agreement by 2015, how the outcome of the Warsaw conference will affect the EU's own discussions on the 2030 climate and energy framework, and how the EU can ensure that the future framework will support both climate and competitiveness in Europe.
