Industrial Policy Task Force

This forward-looking Task Force carried out research on how industrial policy should not just be defensive and protectionist, but also innovative. The Task Force was structured around several policy pillars (access to finance; state aid policies; innovation policy; climate change and competitiveness; investment in skills and human capital; and the external dimension of industrial policy) and proposed specific recommendations for developing a genuine European industrial policy. Through a series of thematic meetings, EPC members and other relevant stakeholders contributed to the reflections on how the EU can embark on a re-industrialisation strategy.
