Internal hearing on "Security Union package/Schengen package"
Silvia Carta was invited to speak at an internal hearing on the Security Union and the Schengen Package at the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC). She focused her intervention on the Commission proposal for a Regulation amending the Schengen Borders Code and on the proposed Regulation addressing situations of instrumentalisation in the field of migration and asylum. The hearing will inform the EESC's opinion on the proposals.
