Francesco Tasin
Programme Assistant
Francesco Tasin is a Programme Assistant within the European Political Economy Programme at the European Policy Center (EPC).
Before joining the EPC, he was a EU AI Governance Fellow on the Talos Summer Fellowship programme, learning about AI governance in relation to the EU, and working on AI and competition. He also worked in the "AI and Society" team in the Future Impact Group in Oxford, where he focused primarily on AI's impact on labour productivity, political polarisation, and the global south.
Francesco holds a first-class Undergraduate degree from the University of Oxford in Psychology, Philosophy, and Linguistics, with a thesis on the ethics of AI autonomy.
