This CHES workshop discussed the Commission proposal on the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) beyond 2020 and how it addresses societal expectations on food quality and health protection. Experts debated how the CAP post-2020 could better promote healthy nutrition, provide quality food and reduce the burden of chronic diseases related to bad nutrition. The event was chaired by Hans Martens, Chair of CHES and Senior Adviser, European Policy Centre (EPC).
