Unpacking Turkish Foreign Policy is a new EPC initiative within its Global Türkiye Project. Throughout 2025, the EPC will organise a series of discussions with leading experts from Türkiye and elsewhere to analyse different areas of Ankara’s foreign policy. With US President-elect, Donald Trump, set to take office on 20 January 2025, this first online Policy Dialogue will assess Türkiye-US relations at a time of global turmoil. Key questions will include: how will Washington’s ties with Ankara under Trump 2.0 differ from his first presidency? What will be the strategic priorities of the relationship? How can Washington and Ankara strengthen cooperation in the Middle East, the Black Sea region and elsewhere? How can Türkiye further contribute to European and Transatlantic security?

Participation is open to EPC members only, the media, and EU officials
